286) The summit seems too far
.
China is to me the summit
and I have to just plod on
and take the first step
by clearing up my room,
but when I gaze at the end of things
and contemplate China,
I stop working on my room,
The two,
the first step
and the ultimate goal
go hand in hand
and it is not for one to usurp the other.
Clearing my room
is my step towards China.

785) Unity Gatherings
.
Were the Unity Gatherings
designed to bring us together
instead of driving us apart,
and who was intended to be united anyway?
Shall I name names, Scary Monster
or was it MJ Watson who was my intended?
And if so,
what made you imagine
I’d be able to change my heart, my allegiance, my affection
when you rejected me
as if buying meat in a cattle market?
THIS doctrine
of Mr Switzer’s
of “wife-swapping”
fills me me with pure contempt
for a Community apparently riddled
with so many corruptions and impurities already
or am I being extreme?
So, I am still in love with “Rock Star” in gray
or is it “in hate”
and feel nothing for “Rock Legend” in yellow
and so this interminably boring saga continues.

784) Drawn to North Wales cluster
.
Llandudno Nat Con
and delegates are referring quite often
to North Wales
and I am drawn back to Bangor
yet again.
Mankind, society, civilization
are approaching an abyss
and it is the Baha’i work
which will ultimately
build a sparkling distant future.
As Western Civilization
goes through its death throes
I must be in North Wales
at Uni in Bangor
and with a degree
to go He knows where-
China?
I must make an unprecedented effort
my mightiest effort
to become fit
for Bangor University

783) His mistress’s voice
.
Yes, I found it
one of the main reasons
for coming to Llandudno
and bought it
and now its all mine
to listen to her voice
to my heart’s content
on my laptop
once ripped to my library.
I could wax lyrical
about all this at length
but secrecy
as far as I am capable of it
is the order of the day.

782) The Words are not Enough
.
Listening to the delegates
it occurs to me
that these 95 delegates
are struggling
to express spiritual concepts,
heavenly emotions
sublime sentiments
in mere words
which do little justice
to what they’re trying to say
as if describing daffodils
in terms
of the pseudo-scientific jargon
of economics or statistics.
Maybe art and drama
creativity and something more
than mere public speaking
is called for
to discuss such intangible themes.

781) Filtering in good in moderation
.
The TPV
(Total Perspective Vortex).
or Synchronicity
or Cosmic Consciousness
or being aware of the reality
of the 1st Insight of the Celestine Prophesy,
that is, noticing coincidences everywhere
is all fine and dandy
in moderation
but in excess
can lead to serious and unfortunate consequences
like hospitalisation no less
for unusual beliefs and eccentrikc behaviour
but in moderation
limited to times of prayer and contemplation
it is the consciousness
that all created things
are signs of God
reflecting His qualities
and leading to a realisation
that all Creation is One
that all things reflect God
and that all besides God
ultimately has no existence or meaning.
As Baha’u’llah has written,
“The end of all knowledge
is the knowledge of God”
and “knowledge without the love of God
bringeth on madness”

780) A welcome for neat handwriting
.
As I write these notes
and these poems,
my handwriting seems to have assumed
a renewed fluency, style and neatness
MUCH less that of a spider.
It’s VERY welcome,
and as I muse
on meeting Baha’is here at Nat Con
I remember Kishan Manocha
Nat Sec
said welcome to me.
I must find him
and seek him out
and say thank you for that
and show my appreciation
for his kindness.

779) Progress in Service to Him
.
In listening to the Counsellor,
Shirin Fozdar-Foroudi
I feel a desire to respond
and see that my response
has already begun.
One Core Activity
that I CAN play out
in the Devotional Meeting
in my own humble flat.
And only clearing, cleaning, sorting and throwing
needs to be done
to make this possible.
THIS is my first step
and has been so
since my first Book 1 in about 1999
and is YET to be achieved.
“There is no time to lose
no room left for vacillation”
Better carry on  then
and continue to pick up speed
in serving Him,
His Plan, His Faith, His Institutions, His Community.

778) Soporific Voices
.
As the consultation drones on
the soporific nature of delegates’ voices
tend to make my eyelids heavy
and my heart and soul
so grievously stricken
in the last 3 years
by the woman who stole my heart
seems less inclined
to believe with faith, hope and love,
as I did in years past
as in 1975
when 19
I was “the epitome of Baha’i youth”?
What went wrong?
I wish I could have a debriefing.
Perhaps in the next world
all will be revealed.

777) Isolation, Social Isolation
.
The first break at Nat Con 2009
and a task is completed
of finding the ISBN numbers
for the two text books
for GCSE “Christianity and The Baha’i Faith”
and then, social isolation
the product, par excellence
of Asperger’s Syndrome
and a sadness, an ennui
reasserts itself
for the umpteenth time.
